MACON, Ga. – For the second time this season, a Florida State pair was named Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week. The duo of Victoria Paranagua and Kristina Pellitteri remained undefeated on the season with a 5-0 week to earn the weekly honors, announced by the league office on Tuesday.

The pair helped the Seminoles stay undefeated on the season as they won four of their five matches in straight sets last week while taking on top level competition. Their lone three-set victory came at the home of the defending champions No. 2-ranked USC in Los Angeles. The duo defeated Sophie Bukovec and Alexa Strange 21-19, 13-21, 15-13 to help flip momentum as Florida State ended USC's 19-match home winning streak.

Prior to that contest the duo secured wins over No. 6 Long Beach State, No. 3 UCLA and No. 20 Loyola Marymount. They began the week with a 21-15, 21-15 win over LBSU, then followed that up with a 21.-14, 21-12 win against CSNU. They defeated the UCLA pair of Elise Zappia and Isabella Carey 23-21, 21-17.

The pair looks to remain unbeaten on the season when they head to Texas this upcoming weekend for three matches. Florida State will take on Houston Baptist, TCU and Texas A&M Corpus Christi. The Seminoles are 9-0 on the year and moved up to No. 2 in the latest AVCA Beach Volleyball rankings this week.
