For the second time this season, senior Amy Taylor etched her name into the North Florida swimming record books. Taylor placed first in the 1000 freestyle, eclipsing the mark previously of  future Osprey Hall of Famer, Lyn Ann Nelson.

Taylor, who already appears five times on the UNF All-Time top-10 list in the 1000 freestyle, swam a time of 10:16.43 in this afternoon's tri-meet with Vanderbilt and Marshall. The swim bested Nelson's six-year old record time by .48 seconds and was nearly five seconds faster than Taylor's previous career best of 10:21.06. The historic swim is also the second fastest in the CCSA this season.  READ MORE
