CCSA Announces Men's Swimmers of the Week - Nov. 7

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (TheCCSA.com) – NJIT senior Matheus Monteiro Montarroyos (Rio De Janeiro, Brazil) and Old Dominion sophomore Nick Wukovits (Mount Pleasant, S.C.) have been named the CCSA Men's Co-Swimmers of the Week for meets contested Oct. 30-Nov. 5, the CCSA announced Tuesday.

Montarroyos claimed three first place finishes in NJIT's meet last weekend against Saint Peters and Bryant. The senior was the only Highlander to grab a first-place finish on day one, finishing the 200 free in 1:45.84. He then placed fourth in the 50 free finishing at 22.30. The next day, Montarroyos took first in the 100 free with a time of 48.65. He earned himself another victory in the 500-free when he clocked in first at 4:50.57.

Wukovits won the 100 and 200 breaststroke for Old Dominion last weekend against UMBC. He won the 100 breaststroke in 56.20, and the 200 breaststroke in 2:05.49.
