CCSA Announces Men's Swimmer and Diver of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (TheCCSA.com) – Gardner-Webb’s Jordan Denmark (Raleigh, N.C.) has been selected as the CCSA Men’s Swimmer of the Week, while the Davidson’s Brian McRae (Portland, Maine) has been named CCSA Men’s Diver of the Week for meets competed Jan. 27-Feb. 2, the League announced today.

Denmark led the Runnin’ Bulldogs against the College of Charleston Southern last week. He secured a victory in the 200-yard individual medley touching in 1:56.19. Denmark also added a first-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke, posting a time of 58.45. He added a win in the 200-yard medley relay swimming the breaststroke leg with a split of 26.24. The award is his first Swimmer of the Week award this season.

McRae and the Wildcats took on Howard last week. He recorded a win in the 3-meter diving competition with a score of 254.78. McRae also tallied the highest score in the 1-meter dive with 252.38 points. This marks his fourth Diver of the Week nod this season.

Also nominated for CCSA Swimmer of the Week: Cameron Bard (Davidson) and Michael Sungurov (NJIT)
