Liberty's Emilie Kaufman (Kirkland, Wash.) has been selected as the CCSA Women's Swimmer of the Week, while Florida Gulf Coast's Maegan Butler (Orangeburg, N.Y.) earned Diver of the Week honors for meets competed Jan. 28-Feb. 3, the League announced today.
Kaufman concluded the regular-season with two first-place finishes in the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard IM. She won the 100-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard IM with times of 1:03.21 and 2:07.38, respectively. Kaufman was also a member of Liberty's first-place 200-medley relay (1:46.07) and anchored the 400-yard free "B" relay that finished second (3:33.68). Kaufman has garnered three Swimmer of the Week nods this season.
Butler won both diving events against North Florida last week. She captured first-place on the 1-meter board with a score of 253.20 and won the 3-meter board with a score of 299.17. This is Butler's fourth Diver of the Week honor this season.
