Kylie Warne set a school record in the 1,000 yard freestyle, leading Campbell against East Carolina and Old Dominion. The Camels fell 197-95 at ECU, while ODU defeated Campbell 188-96.
The Camels dip to 8-6 in dual meets this season.
Warne, a junior from Lethbridge, Alberta, posted a time of 10:14.49 in the 1,000 free, earning Campbell's only win of the day, and breaking her own CU record. Warne's previous mark of 10:19.91 was set last season.
Warne also placed fourth in the 200 IM with a time of 2:09.21, while taking sixth in the 200 fly with a 2:07.85 mark.
Lily Tang (1:01.21) and Carly Bowles (1:10.63) also placed fifth in the 100 backstroke and the 100 breaststroke, respectively. Sydney Postmus (2:12.55) and Meredith Cooper (2:28.35) both registered fourth place finishes on the day in the 200 back and 200 breaststroke.
Freshman Sarah Jabusch took fifth in the 200 yard freestyle with a personal best 1:55.70, while Erica Wammock, also a CU freshman, recorded a personal record 25.22 to take sixth in the 50 freestyle.
The Camels finished third in the 400 yard freestyle with a time of 3:39.93 (Virginia Dailey, Meredith Cooper, Kaitlyn Tunstall and Spencer Hopper).
Next up for Campbell will be a trip to North Carolina A&T on Friday, Jan. 25.
