CHARLOTTE, N.C. (TheCCSA.com) - North Florida's Rebeca Bernard (Windermere, Fla.) has been selected as the CCSA Women's Swimmer of the Week, while North Florida's Amanda Habig (Plantation, Fla.) earned Diver of the Week honors for meets competed Dec. 10-16, the League announced today.
Bernard had a great performance in North Florida's 179-92 win against Daytona State. She had first-place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.70 and the 100-yard freestyle with a time 54.94. She anchored the 400 medley relay that took second-place in a time of 4:08.3. She also swam the second leg of the winning 400 freestyle relay that finished in a time of 3:40.14.
Habig claimed second-place in her diving events to help the Ospreys defeat Daytona State. She posted a season-best score of 236.17 in the 1-meter board and career-best score of 239.63 in the 3-meter board.
